Kindermusik Village® Ages: Newborn to 1½ years old Nurtured with music from the very first days of life, your baby will experience singing, instrument exploration, vocal play, creative movement and literature.

• weekly 45 minute class for lap babies, crawlers, walkers and their parent(s) or caregiver

• 2 years of different curricula are available with themes such as "Cock-A-Doodle-Moo", "Do-Si-Do", "Dream Pillow" and "Zoom Buggy"

• incorporates multiple levels of activities appropriate for all the stages of development in this age range, which stimulate babies to observe, imitate and learn

• materials received every 8 weeks include a home CD featuring all songs and chants from class plus more; a board book with delightful, colorful artwork; two art banners featuring artwork from the baby book; and a specially designed musical instrument; all in a clear vinyl storage and carry bag

Kindermusik Our Time® Ages: 1½ to 3 years old With you at the center of each adventure, your child will move to music, play instruments, learn finger plays, learn focused listening, sing songs and enjoy a weekly Music & Movement Story Time.

• weekly 45 minute class for child with parent(s) or caregiver

• 2 years of different curricula are available with themes such as "Wiggles & Giggles", "Away We Go!", "Milk & Cookies" and "Fiddle–Dee–Dee"

• presents a multi-cultural curricula, with songs and dances from a wide variety of countries

• materials received every sixteen weeks include two home CD's, two literature books used during weekly story times, a home activity book, a specially designed instrument and a child's carry box or bag

Kindermusik Imagine That!® Ages: 3 to 5 years old Your child will participate in a remarkable blend of music, singing, movement, literature, instrument exploration and pretend play.

• weekly 45 minute class; children attend the first 30 minutes alone, parent(s) or caregiver joins in for the last 15 minutes

• 2 years of different curricula are available with themes such as "See What I Saw", "Toys I Make, Trips I Take", "Hello Weather, Let´s Play Together" and "Cities"

• participation in Imagine That! nurtures the development of vocal skills, gross and fine motor skills, social skills, sharing skills, creativity, and a sense of competence

• home materials received every sixteen weeks include two home CD's, two colorfully illustrated literature books used for class story times, an interactive play set or game, a family activity book, and a specially designed instrument, all in a colorful child-sized backpack.

Kindermusik for the Young Child® Ages: 5 to 7 years old Your child will explore many facets of music—singing, playing instruments, moving, listening, and exploring reading and writing music. The capstone of Kindermusik, Young Child is the perfect pressure-free preparation for private instrumental instruction.

• weekly 60 minute class; children attend the first 45 minutes alone, parent(s) or caregiver joins in for the last 15 minutes

• two-year program with 4 sequential semesters of different curricula - children may enter the program at the beginning (in September) or in February of the first year

• spans the bridge between music play and more formal music experiences and allows children to learn by doing - through singing, listening, movement and ensemble instrument play - without the pressure of performance

• provides children a unique opportunity to explore voice development, rhythm, notation, musical symbols, and simple pre-keyboard, string, and woodwind instruments

• materials received twice each school year include a home CD; a folder to hold weekly Music At Home cards, Activity Pages and special stickers; a family songbook; and a games bag all in a Canvas Carry Bag. In the first year each child receives an instrument quality Glockenspiel with two mallets; in the second year children receive a dulcimer and a recorder.

Kindermusik Family Time Ages: newborn and up NEW! A one-room schoolhouse approach to music. With older children ready to show the little ones how it's done and the younger ones eager to learn, Family Time is a multi-layered learning environment that brings the whole family together.

• weekly 45 minute class; families with children from newborn to 7 years of age attend together

• two years of different curricula with themes such as "Our Kind of Day" and "Here, There, Everywhere"

• materials received every sixteen weeks are designed for two children--one hand puppet, one finger puppet, two instruments, two literature books, two CDs, and a family activity guide.

Kindermusik Adventures® Summer Camp Ages: newborn through 7 years old Summer is a wonderful time for a music class! Each week your child will enjoy story time, singing, movement, song games, playing instruments, creative movement, focused listening, finger plays and exploratory time.

• birth to 18 months: 8 weekly classes of 45 minutes; 18 months to 3½ years: 5 weekly classes of 60 minutes; 3½ to 7 years: 5 weekly classes of 90 minutes.

• summer themes like "Peek-a-boo I Love You", "Busy Days", "Creatures in my Backyard", "Creatures at the Ocean", "Zoo Train", "Confetti Days", "On The Road", "Tell Me A Tale", "Adventures Around the World"

• materials vary with different camps but all include a home CD of all the music used in the camp, a home activity poster or folder, and a musical instrument or baby toy

Kindermusik ABC, Music and Me™ Offered in Preschools and Child care Centers Ages: ages 2 to 6 years old NEW! If you work during the day and your 2 to 6 year old child is in a pre-school or child care center, ask the center director if they will be offering the new Kindermusik ABC Music and Me program. Great Northwest Music has contacted most of the centers in the Grants Pass area with information about bringing this wonderful new weekly music class to their students. Rather than adding to your family's weekly schedule, we will strengthen your child's learning program on site with weekly music lessons.

• four weekly classes every month, each month exploring a new theme. Classes are 30 minutes in length, with up to 12 children in a class, taught by a trained and licensed Kindermusik educator from Great Northwest Music Academy

• helps your preschooler explore the world with exciting games and interactive songs that foster self-expression and creativity. Tapping out rhythms on sticks, shaking jingle bells, moving, dancing and singing all contribute to musical development.

• Musical experiences reinforce concepts such as numbers, colors, shapes and letters. Activities in class will prepare your child for elementary school by establishing listening and attention skills, self confidence and reading readiness.

• Fosters development of gross locomotor, fine motor skills and coordination through developmentally appropriate music and movement activities.

• children ages 4 to 6 will center on musical education including an introduction to musical notation, new instruments and music vocabulary.

• weekly take home pages show the parent what their child did in ABC Music & Me that week; monthly take-home kits for each unit include a full color Family Activity Guide, home CD, a musical instrument every other month

HOW TO REGISTER: Because signatures are required, registration must be done in person at Great Northwest Music in the Town Center Plaza on G Street. Classes fill fast, so register early!

Provides activities for you and your child to enjoy daily at home. Home materials are included with every class providing CDs, literature books, and activity suggestions.
