Guitar Classes, Lessons and Ensembles
Band Jam!!Have you always wanted to play in a band? Band Jam!! brings together singers, guitarists, bass players and drummers to form rock bands that rehearse and perform classic rock and popular music.
Beginning Guitar Classes
Guitar classes for acoustic or electric guitar are an excellent way to learn the basics—chords and notes in open position, a variety of strum and fingerpicking patterns, and the ability to play together with other musicians. This foundation prepares students for private lessons or guitar ensembles. Each class meets for one hour.
Beginning Bass Guitar Class
Learn to play bass guitar in a group setting including basic bass guitar techniques, tuning methods, music theory, and playing basic scales and rhythms. Class meets weekly for one hour.
Private Lessons for Guitar
Private lessons for students 8 years and older meet for 30 minutes each week. Longer lessons are available on request. Children ages 6-8 will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Concepts learned in private lessons are similar to our guitar classes, however private lessons are more tailored to individual students, including songs and techniques that they would like to learn.
